| Antique Barrel Stave Trunk Nice Dome Tray - Large Circa 1869 SOLD This barrel stave trunk measures a large size 34.5"L X 28"H X 21"W with a strong and well proportioned shape about it. The lock is top notch being large and solid brass. Ding, dents, and discolorations enough to be rugged looking and with a tough character. The handles are flared end stitched leather handles secured by strips of leather which was how it came when original. The inside has a new tray and is finished wood. An option is given on this one concerning the left inside lid. There was originally a compartment in the lid which was gone when found. I will rebuild this compartment which takes up the left side of the lid if you wish or just leave unbuilt so you can see more of the inside dome. Either is fine with me and no additional cost to build taking just an hour or two.
