A nice looking steamer trunk from the first quarter of the 1900's. This trunk measures 36.5"L X 13"H
X 21"W. The low profile design made this style a popular trunk for bringing with you to your cabin or
berthing area of the steamship or train as it could be stowed out of the way under the sleeping area.
An early version of the carry on if you will. It retains some of its natural patina on the hardware both
the exterior and interior wood have been finished to be clean and suitable for storage as you with. It
has a Yale and Towne lock on it however it is not functional.
