Measuring 37"L X 25"H X 23.5"W, this is a large size trunk that would have been made in the early
1900's. It is in remarkable condition with its original painted canvas and interior lining. The lining is a
green tone of some sort and is patterned with leaves. Unfortunately, the original tray is missing so I
am including a nice wood tray. This trunk has apparently always been well maintained and never
under any great stress. It has an abundance of hardware which is in wonderful shape. Much of it
still has some of the original brass plating while other pieces, especially toward the bottom, has lost
it but still cleaned up and left with its natural patina. The lock comes with a working key and the
latches work perfectly. The canvas itself is in A+ condition with a slight variation in color that can be
noticed on the very top. The middle strip running long ways is slightly different toned and provides
some contrast. The original handles are still in great shape and I have added some new leather
straps. A finish was applied over the outside and other then slight wear as to be expected, there are
no issues with this trunk at all.
