I pretty nice dome top trunk from around the turn of the century. It measures 36"L X 25"H X 19"W
and is in wonderful shape having been freshly refinished. No real issues to the outside other than a
dent or two on the metal from normal use. The bottom is in great shape and It opens and closes like
a new car.
The original inside paper has been removed and the wood refinished. It sanded out pretty smoothly
so just a light finish was applied. Not as flashy but I believe you will like it better in the long run. The
original lithograph was saved and is in good shape. The original tray is present as well with a
bonnet or hat box on one side and a small compartment that runs along a portion of the back. The
tray is shown stripped but unfinished, it was about time to knock off for the day and I thought I
would go ahead and list it. I am sure it will finish up just fine before arriving at your home.
