Nail Fetching Specialist
A crudely constructed blanket chest made from full 1" solid pine reclaimed from a circa 1900 home
which was to be destroyed. The joinery is simple nailing using same era cut nails and no great effort
was made to make things perfect but rather to give the look and feel of an old chest with board
shrinkage and natural imperfections. The inside appears properly aged as well. The wood was
cleaned up a bit but not so much as to loose the old sawmill marks and natural pitting. It was well
oiled and then given a medium gloss finish. To break things up a bit, some vintage handles were
installed. If you are a craft person, this chest  would lend itself well to further decoration if you wish.

The measurements are 41"L X 17.75"H X 22"W which is a great coffee table size. It opens and shuts
perfectly and should last a couple lifetimes. I would be happy to build a small till inside at no
additional cost.
