|Large Primitive Bowl Or Cleaning Platter
Perhaps Cypress Wood
Exact Age Unknown But Old
Great Wall Hanger
|A primitive bowl or platter which appears to be made of cypress wood. It is quite old with the back
being gray wood that has been cleaned up a bit and will (unless oiled) shortly return to gray which
was actually a nice look contrasting with the darker front. The front bowl area will remain mostly as

mouth. With that, it would make a pretty neat wall hanger if nothing else. The back resting area is flat
and it sits perfectly and would hang fine as well.
This wood has the potential to clean up beautifully if you wanted to but it is old and that is how it is
being offered. At the buyers request I can rub it down with some linseed oil before shipping. It's a
big piece that is not something you see everyday and I will do what I can should you have any
